An assistant that remembers the conversation, and a log of every project change
The AI assistant now remembers what it looked up earlier in a conversation and asks before bigger changes, and each project keeps an activity log.
This release makes the AI assistant beside each paper easier to follow and its changes easier to check.
- It remembers the conversation. The assistant now keeps what it looked up in earlier replies of the same conversation, not only what was said, so a follow-up question can build on what it already found. Conversations are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
- It asks before bigger changes. When the assistant wants to add more than one paper to a project at once, it proposes the change instead of making it, and nothing happens until you click Confirm on the card it shows. A reply in the chat can't confirm it, and there is a limit on how many changes it can make in one reply.
- Every project keeps an activity log. The project page has a new Activity section listing the changes made to the project and who made them: you, the assistant, or an AI tool connected through MCP. Proposed changes waiting for your confirmation appear there too.
- A draft AI-use declaration. From the activity log you can download a draft declaration of how AI tools were used on the project, built from the changes they made on PaperVantage. Check and complete it before you submit it anywhere.
The activity log is deleted with its project. The Privacy Policy has the details.
