An API reference for PaperVantage
A public API reference page covering the routes behind PaperVantage, with authentication, errors and every route's parameters and responses.
PaperVantage now has an API reference: a documentation page for the same API that the website and connected AI tools use, so you can script your library and projects with an API key.
- Getting started. Create an API key on the MCP setup page and send it as a bearer token. The reference shows a first request you can copy.
- Every route, one page each section. Routes are grouped by area (papers, projects, documents and so on), each with its parameters and responses. Routes an API key can reach are marked separately from routes that need you to be signed in on the website, such as account and billing.
- Same behaviour as the website and MCP tools. The assistant and MCP tools run on these routes rather than on a separate copy, so what a tool can do matches what the API documents.
The reference is a read-only documentation page; it sends nothing about you anywhere.
